Audience and Consumer Consideration

So now considering our audience, the typical consumers of Pop are teens and young adults.
This link was extremely helpful when trying to plan in telling me how music is consumed and the audience who experience it.

But it's also important to have a clear idea of an exemplar audience in order to help narrow marketing making it more efficient.
This technique of singling out certain audiences to save time and effort is what professionals in the real media industry do to target certain members of the public to maximize success.

Social Grade
Social Status
Occupation
A
Upper Middle Class
Higher managerial, administrative or professional
B
Middle Class
Intermediate managerial, administrative or professional
C1
Lower Middle Class
Supervisory or clerical, junior managerial, administrative or professional
C2
Skilled Working Class
Skilled manual workers
D
Working Class
Semi and unskilled manual workers
E
Lowest Level of Subsistence
State pensions or widows, casual or lowest grade workers

By knowing which Social Status producers aim to target their product to, they can adjust accordingly to make the product itself more appealing to them and focus advertisement in the mediums that group are presumed to most commonly be exposed to.

Similarly I plan to do the same for my project.
Obviously marketing and distributing my product will not be an essential part but what this table and strategy can tell us is how to consider Audience while making our product.
